Wool Striae by Maharam is a luxurious 100% wool upholstery textile distinguished by its sophisticated, softly defined stripe and richly variegated color. Rather than a conventional crisp stripe, the pattern is created through subtle shifts in the woven yarns, giving the surface a beautiful striated, almost handwoven quality.
The Aqua colorway is particularly striking, blending turquoise, teal, peacock blue, deep navy, and subtle violet-blue tones. From a distance it reads as a saturated blue-green textile, while up close the individual colors reveal considerably more depth and movement. This makes it an excellent way to introduce strong color without the flatness of a solid upholstery fabric.
